What: Cafe Presse and NWFF offer pique-niques at the Local Sightings Film Festival

Cafe Presse and Northwest Film Forum are teaming up to help you enjoy the 2012 Local Sightings Film Festival a little bit more. During this year’s festival, movie goers will be able to make their selections from a Pique-nique style menu prepared fresh by Cafe Presse and delivered to you at the theater. Choose from 3 different sandwiches or opt for the “Pique-nique Complet” that includes salad and dessert, and your choice will be served to you on a wicker tray to enjoy during the screening. Vegetarian choices are available. Menu items must be purchased in advance through NWFF online ticketing.
So what exactly is Local Sightings? Here’s what the NWFF says:
“Local Sightings is our annual showcase of current narrative, documentary and experimental film by Northwest artists. The week long festival (taking place this year September 30-October 6) also features panel discussions, historic NW films, a filmmaker lounge, a stellar opening night party, and juried awards for a winning short and feature film!”
