On August 19th, Café Presse and Le Pichet Executive Chef Jim Drohman will prepare amenu of dishes from Susan Herrmann Loomis’ new book In A French Kitchen.

Cervelle de canut, concombre en purée
Œufs mimosa
Coques à la vinaigrette
Passed appetizers:  Herbed fresh cheese with cucumber purée on crostini;  Deviled eggs à la Française; Clams in vinaigrette

Salade de melon à la vinaigrette aux échalotes
Melon salad with shallot vinaigrette

Tagine simple d’Emilie, son couscous, poivrons grillés à l’ail
Emilie’s chicken thigh tagine, couscous, garlic roasted red peppers

Sorbet aux nectarines
Nectarine sorbet scented with rosemary, lemon sable cookie
