Recently also tried a place in Bordeaux called Le Boucher which we really enjoyed…heavy SW cooking but one of the better cotes de boeuf that I have had. Good luck!

Although I haven’t spent a lot of time in Seattle, the hubby and I did eat at Le Pichet and loved it! We are now in Bordeaux for 2-yrs studying wine. I love to cook and do so often here but would like to try more of the restaurants. Le Petit Commerce keeps coming up, just made my reservation. Side note- not familiar with Orthez, will need to look that one up. I hope you get to retire there one day 😉
